What's On at His Place
*Please note if there are severe weather warnings the venue has to close due to the vunerability of the building and the safety of the pubilc. We aim to notify members and also to put announcements out on social media in this event and if possible notes on the door. This is a rare occurance, but we pray that by the end of 2023 we will have restored the buidling and ensured that all repairs are completed.
His Place Art Cafe & Community Centre
Open Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat - 10am - 3pm, The cafe is run by volunteers and there are a range of social activies and workshops available for you to join in with. Mainly free acitvities, games and toys available always for use by customers wheather old or young. Just ask at the counter if your not sure where to look or whats available. 12 STEP Addiction Recovery meeting
Next course starts on 9th December 7pm - 8.30pm. This is a small informal group for people whom have any addiction, wheather it is shopping, alcohol, drugs, pornography etc...everyone attending has the same goal which is to be free from the control of addiction. The meeting is totaly confidential. You do not have to be a person with Christian faith to attend, everyone is welcome regardless of faith, ethincity or other labels that society has given.
Church Service 10:30am and 6.30pm
Sunday am lively worship, prayer and word (Children's club from 11am - 11:45- then return to for worship) Sunday evening Informal relaxed fellowship service - in the His Place Art Cafe, ground floor from Robertson Street entrance.
Wednesday Fellowship 7pm
Meeting takes place in the His Place Art Cafe, ground floor disabled accessiable comforatble seating and refreshments on hand. Informal praise and worship Prayer and bible study discussion group led by Rev Chris Sears and worship lead by Gilly.
Tuesday 1.30pm - 2.30pm at His Place Art Cafe - disabled accessiable in the quite room. Thursday alternate weeks in Hastings 7pm at Bruce and Carolines home.
Sunday Fellowship Lunch
Once a month we either have a bring and share lunch, BBQ or we go to a family pub for lunch. Time to spend together as family. This is an opportunity to bring visitors also to share with us.
Ladies met ups
The ladies arrange social outings anything from a walk on the beach, coffee, meal out, garden centre visits or craft and laugh sessions. Totaly infomal, no prescirbed conversations just a ladies only social event. Event takes place anywhere from Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings or elsewhere.
